“This is a Comic Book” intends to inform
the public while encouraging investigation
from even the most knowledgeable
comic book reader by removing the work from
its usual method of interaction and
directing a microscopic lens on the works
as both illustration and creative writing.
The show will be accompanied by a small
run catalog-zine featuring writing by Anne
Elizabeth Moore, former editor of the
Comics Journal, Dave Filipi, Curator of
Film/Video at the Wexner Center, and J.
Caleb Mozzocco, former Culture Editor
for the Columbus Alive and creator of the
comics blog "Every Day is like Wednesday".
